1. You are buying the said puppy for yourself, and you are not acting as an agent. All guarantees shall become null and void if the said puppy is sold, gave away or transferred to another person.

2. The said puppy is sold as a purebred and will has a tattoo in its ear for identification. The registration paper will be furnished at no cost to the buyer and will be forwarded upon receipt from the PERKIN.

3. You must confirm before purchase, that you have consulted your veterinary surgeon about this breed and any possible diseases, genetic or otherwise, to which it is prone, and you accept that, if such a disease develops later in life after satisfactory preliminary examination by your veterinary surgeon, the breeder cannot be held responsible.

4. Once the said puppy has been sold, it becomes the property of the buyer. The breeder does not assume any liability for any injury to the said puppy after leaving our home. The breeder can offer no further guarantees once the care of the said puppy is no longer under our control. The buyer further warrants that the puppy will be kept in appropriate conditions for its health and welfare.

5. We guarantee the said puppy to be pet/companion quality and cannot guarantee the said puppy to be show or breeding quality at such a young age. No guarantees were given to the perfect conformation, adult size, color, coat type, weight, ears standing, temperament, testicles, luxating patella, improper bites, molera or ability to breed. To the best of my knowledge this puppy is free of disease at the date of this sale. The buyer has 24 hours from the time they pick up to have the puppy checked by a veterinarian of their choice at the buyer’s expense.

6. We warrant that, to the best of our knowledge, and at the time of sale, the said puppy is in good health and will have at least one puppy shot and wormed before being released to the buyer. All appropriate shots for the puppy’s age have been given and a record of this vaccination history is supplied. You are strongly advised to take the said puppy to your vet for a health check. Validation of this warranty requires thorough physical examination of the said puppy by your vet at your expense within 24 hours after bringing the said puppy home. This veterinary examination is mandatory to confirm that the said puppy was not sick or injured at the time of purchase. No warranty can be given as the ultimate health of the said puppy.

7. Any physical problem which is or could be the result of injury, overfeeding, underfeeding, and does not have up to date records of vaccinations, de-worming and heart guard, are not covered under this guarantee. Other certain disorders that may be caused by environmental factors such as allergies, thyroid dysfunction, ear mite, mange, and other autoimmune disorders are not covered in this guarantee. This guarantee does not include hernias/ruptures, hypoglycemia, coccidiosis or giardiasis which can happen in puppies that are stressed from moving to new homes.

8. You agree to maintain the said puppy in good health and provide routine preventive healthcare and medication such as regular booster vaccinations, worming, flea control, rabies vaccination and heart worm prevention as recommended by your vet, throughout its lifetime.

9. You have been provided with food that the puppy has been reared on. Any changes must be gradual. Do not change your puppy diet suddenly. This will reduce the risk of stomach upset and diarrhea, which can be very serious in puppy. Keep to a low protein diet during the first twelve months. Puppy should be kept fit, not fat, throughout its normal growth period. Puppy should be fed 4 meals a day to about 3 months of age, then 3 meals to about 5-6 months, reducing to twice a day until a year old. After this, you may wish to feed once a day or continue with a small breakfast and a main meal in the evening.

10. DON'T :
a. Take your puppy to a park, sports field, pet store or any other public place until your puppy has had its full round of shots, as it could contract a deadly disease. When you take your puppy to the veterinary, please hold your puppy or keep your puppy in a covered crate and do not allow it to touch the ground.
b. Let your puppy climb up and down stairs or jump on and off furniture. Damage to legs and joints can easily occur.
c. Over exercise your puppy. A short daily walk is sufficient up until 6 months of age. Do not exercise your animal an hour before or an hour after feeding. Do not allow your puppy to drink lots of water directly before or after feeding. Do not feed your puppy if it is panting heavily. Do not feed your puppy a gassy dog food. Do not allow your puppy to drink lots of water if he/she is very warm.

11. Give your puppy toys to play with that are safe for a mouth. No little balls or tiny toys. Right from the start, train your puppy to allow you to take food and toys away from it. This action may one day save your dog life.

12. If through unforeseen circumstances, at whatever age or for whatever reason, you can no longer keep your puppy, it should not be placed in general rescue kennels. You agree that if at any time you cannot take proper care of the puppy, you must contact the breeder and the breeder will have the options of first refusal or to either :
a. Take the puppy back at your expense. No refund or replacement of puppy will be given.
b. Assist you in finding a suitable home for the puppy. This would normally not entail any refund, as the adopters would not expect to pay for an older pup or adult dog.
c. Proceeds of sale (if any) will be forwarded to you. Please bear in mind that the monetary value may be substantially less than the original purchase price.
If there is anything in this contract that you are not happy with and do not wish to sign, we are sorry, but we will be unable to sell you one of our puppies.
